Highland Park

Highland Park is a neighborhood in the Northeast region of Los Angeles County. Centrally located with great freeway access (110, 5, 210, 134), Highland Park sits a few miles from Downtown L.A. and provides easy access to other great neighboring communities like Pasadena, Silverlake, Echo Park and Eagle Rock.

In the early 20th Century, Highland Park and neighboring communities like Pasadena became havens for artists and intellectuals who led the Arts and Crafts movement. In recent years, Highland Park has experienced a transformation and a revival as a result of the influx of a diverse mix of people and new businesses. Once again, Highland Park is building a reputation as a mecca for artists, with artisanal shops, galleries, bars and restaurants opening throughout the neighborhood. Tree-lined residential streets mix with a walkable urban culture parƟcularly along York Boulevard and Figueroa Street. Here, you will find old-school taquerias coexisting with hip new bistros, along with a great mix of cool coffee shops, eateries, bars and vintage shops.
